I wished you good luck. I still think you will need it. I didn't bid on it, I told the client the price I was willing to do this including editing by an expert in the field and the client said that was higher than what they bid on it, as I expected.

But you did not stop there, you got in touch with the company which posted this translation and gave them some statements with which you have tried to discredit my credentials. The company sent me two emails, I called them immediately and spoke with the person and asked what the problem was… etc.

After starting to translate the project I have posted two entries on ProZ.com to get some suggestions from other ProZ.com members. You were the first to comment (see above). As usual, you do it to other translators as well. But did you realize how transparent your comments were?

Today there was a posting on Proz.com and as you say in your “advice” you did not take it because they could not pay your rate. I had no idea that you bid on this project, but it is not to say that your bidding would have stopped me from trying to get this translation.
