: Just out of curiosity, how would you translate dirty lemon in a way that doesn´t sound unpleasant?

Thank you, Susie. Probably, "limón pasado" or "limón pasado de maduro"... Still a bit "off", but better than "sucio" (yuck!) ;-) /.../ "limón añejo" or "viejo" or even "algo fermentado" (depending on the actual smell...)
