Yes, it does I've never heard this term before. Semi-intensive, yes; but not in a PK/PD context. Is this a back-translation by any chance?

half duration

I think *semi intense* modifies the *assessment*, not the drug (through the word pharmacokinetic).

As such, semi intense assessment can have several meanings: with half dose, in half duration, covering half of the area to be assesses, etc.

I tend to think it to be half duration of the intense one.
