Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Muriel Vasconcellos

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Mario Freitas Jun 24, 2014:
Though I agree with Paulinho & Richard All members shall give as much as they receive. So I do suggest you answer some questions, too, Ede.
Mario Freitas Jun 24, 2014:
I'm not convinced, yet, I like giving a try to such complex wordings. And, if you'll notice, you'll see the most absurdly different suggestions, as people have a hard time understanding the wordy ornaments of this author. I would agree with you all if, like Richard said, the asker were posting stuff that Google could translate. It's definitely not the case here. I just hope if I ever get a job as hard as that you'll help me, because I use KudoZ a lot, and it's my first resource, not the last.
Paulinho Fonseca Jun 24, 2014:
I understand everything you say Edcastroalves. However, I do not accept it. I've learned that to receive we have to give and vice versa. Don't take me wrong.
Richard Purdom Jun 24, 2014:
'only' 15% ??!! KudoZ is supposed to be used as a last resort, not every time you can't be rsd to do the work yourself, so quit playing the victim.
None of your questions show any sign that you have made any effort, where the problem is, what you don't understand exactly, how far you've got. that would probably take a lot of effort to repeat 1187 times. Meanwhile, your questions virtually clog up the entire page.

Richard and Paulinho, The Google translation reads as follows: "Pregnant Isabella banks phrases". Do you really find it ´reasonable´??? Paulinho, My perception is that, when you answer a question, you actually learn something which implies I
help and contribute... Furthermore, I´ve learnt that you should not be so judgemental to the point of lashing out with no concern for others or without even actually knowing them. I rest my case.
Paulinho Fonseca Jun 24, 2014:
Still foggy. The aim here is exchange, help and contribute. If I am just taking away, it means...

Mario, thanks a lot for your sensitivity. People enjoy flogging without having a clue as to what actually prompts other people to resort to Kudoz like I do. They don´t really care about the "backstage"; the text I´m working on is huge and, as you said, is really complex and my questions stand for only about 15% of the whole thing. Luckily for me, there are some human beings who, like yourself, are understanding and do not jump to conclusions just for the heck of it. Again, many thanks.
Richard Purdom Jun 24, 2014:
Mario, that photographer question could have been answered perfectly reasonably by Google translate, and this one too...
Mario Freitas Jun 24, 2014:
We've had several cases of freeloading before, And they were pretty obvious. In this specific case, however, the questions posted are pretty hard, with a complex terminology, and I didn't ever think they were abusive. What percentage of the originals do you think this person is posting as questions? I'm still suggesting answers to her, but I will not cooperate if you really think she's breaking all these rules.
Muriel Vasconcellos Jun 24, 2014:
Points? Maybe people who are answering these questions should ask themselves if they are doing it for points.
Muriel Vasconcellos Jun 24, 2014:
I stopped answering these questions a long time ago. See rules 2.1, 2.3, and 2.4. There are also too many of them.
Paulinho Fonseca Jun 24, 2014:
Yeah, no fair play.
Georgia Morg (X) Jun 24, 2014:
Freeloader. I hadn't realised. Thanks for pointing it out.

... pregnant Isabel, benches with phrases...

Se se trata de uma tradução literal e se refere a banco para sentar-se, então essa seria a tradução. Caso se trate de "banco", instituição financeira, logo seria "banks".

Estou partindo da premissa de que se trata de uma tradução literal. Espero ter ajudado.
