Technically, the signer's signature line isn't part of the notarial certificate at all. Remember, a notarization has the notary's signature, official seal impression and a complete certificate detailing the date of the action, the name of the signer, where the notarization took place and what notarial action was witnessed.

The laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky now require notaries to make note of every document notarized, for whom it was notarized and to collect signatures from every person involved. I keep a ledger which keeps details of notarial actions.
