Neanche Wikipedia in italiano lo traduce (non che voglia dire gran che) e ci sono 529 siti in italiano con l'espressione in inglese. Ho dato un'occhiatina a casaccio all'interno di questi siti e non ho trovato uno straccio di traduzione:(

Procuratore Generale di Stato
The Lord Advocate has a range of functions. Under post 1998 devolution arrangements his most important task is as head of the Procurator Fiscal Service. The English equivalent of this service, perhaps better known, is Crown Prosecution Service. However take care not to confuse the head of the CPS (i.e. the DPP) with the Lord Advocate.
The Lord Advocate has overall responsibility for the management of the cirminal justice system in Scotland.
More serious criminal actions are brought in the name of the Lord Advocate, though his name rarely appears in the title of the case itself as "Lord Advocate". Normally "Her Majesty's Advocate" or "HMA". (Less serious actions are brought in the name of the competent procurator fiscal.) Cf. in England it is the Crown which prosecutes (i.e. "R v ...."), so there is no equivalent there.
