French term

entraînement à la vapeur d’eau

Non-PRO French to English Other Botany Text on Aromatic Plants used for making Essential Oils
This is explaining the method of producing the essential oils from the plants. It is done by the time-honoured method of 'la distillation par entraînement à la vapeur d’eau'. Does anyone know the correct term for this in English?

"F-E Dictionary for Chemists" (Patterson) for "entraînement à la vapeur" = "distillation with steam" no other information provided I'm afraid
Note from asker:
This is an interesting suggestion, but does your dictionary give any indication that this can refer to distilling substances from plants (and not just chemicals)?
I was not sure who to give the points to, Jonathan, as you found this, but it was really due to what Robert then added that I could see it was correct. Thank you very much.
