While a military professional IS a Berufssoldat, I think they are trying to say that the text is about something of concern to someone in the military and stays on a professional level.

Based on your other text types, this might be, say, the maintenance manual for a tank.

Berufssoldat

Total guesswork; such as the English a regular soldier would be expected to know. The thought behind it being that the regulars wiould usually be those in charge who had to discuss the situation with their counterparts (the official language for the "Einsätze" is English) and then pass on the news, good or bad, to their "erks" (or "O.Rs" - other ranks)
