Design Approach
The following design approach outlines the engineering design, procurement and engineering support services provided by Engineer:
- Provide the engineering deliverables to allow the timely procurement and construction of the scope of Facilities.
- Develop key control documents, which will be used in the execution of engineering.
- Implement a standardization approach.
- Produce design quantity take-offs.
- Produce scope of work for Contractors and Subcontractors.
- Establish which drawings and documents require client approval.
- *Pre-engineered buildings*, modularization, pre-assembly, consolidation, and other innovative techniques will be used where applicable to reduce costs.

Obviamente indica que las edificaciones son prefabricadas, no construidas en el sitio. Espero que sea una opción lógica, no lo había visto anteriormente. ¡Suerte!

Para clarificar en mi opinión la acotación de Liz, creo que 'engineered' en inglés es 'diseñado', y en este caso, creo que hace referencia a la prefabricación de la construcción

Hi Christian. First, thank you for your comment. We all learn from other's opinions :-) Second, in this context, I see it as prefabricado, not pre-diseñado, but who knows, the other option might be correct...
