I think this could be a set of workshops or masterclasses, rather than an official, permanent conservatory with its own building etc. Maybe one of the answers above might be appropriate.

Neilmac: sure thing. "Masterclasses" is only useful if you know for certain that these are a set of workshops. I'd go for "Centre of Excellence" which is, as far as I can tell, as close as you're going to get, and will cover both ideas, that is to say, a permanent or temporary centre for high-level performers. Or whatever fits your context! Good luck, anyway! :)

The shortest version would be 'The Placido Domingo Center/Centre' and this would also work fine, given that the name Placido Domingo would probably not be associated with a water skiing training centre or school of French cuisine (as your comment above about 'contextual input' suggests).
There is a short story in one of the books I use in teaching Spanish, titled 'Aqui se vende pescado fresco'. Anyone know this little tale? It's all about shortening a title until nothing is left ... although I wouldn't go that far in this case :)

"This hall will also be the home of the Academia de Perfeccionamiento (or Advanced Academy), connected with Placido Domingos International Voice Competition. One of the central pillars of the project, this Academy will focus on young singers and encourage musical culture and training among children."
No new suggestions, though - I think you should choose between mine and Jackie Bowman's :)
