For the purpose of genetic evaluation a consistent bias will be part of the management group effect and will not affect the accuracy of genetic evaluation.
Ja znalazłam definicję "consistent bias" dla pomiarów:
"Consistent bias
Bias that is significant and persists consistently over time for a specific instrument, operator, or configuration should be corrected if it can be reliably estimated from repeated measurements. Results with the instrument of interest are then corrected to:
Corrected result = Measurement - Estimate of bias"
Nie mam pewności, czy to jest to samo.

błąd systematyczny w technice, bez względu na sposób jego określenia, jest zazwyczaj stały ma tę stałość w swojej nazwie. Bias jest z definicji przesunięciem i nie definiuje tego tak dobrze jak termin polski. W innych dziedzinach jest pewnie zmienny, stąd dokreślenie (consistent). Specjalnej definicji chyba nie ma.
