English to French Medical Medical (general) Seizures

Some friends are going on a trip to France – one has health problems (in his brain, leading to fits) and another is a doctor, who needs to know the exact, technical medical French for a couple of specific terms, of which this is one. Any help really appreciated – thanks in advance.
