I think you have got it, I wouldn't change anything. "Therefore, it appears that no significant factor from the sales series would remain to be explained which could not be explained with the variables included in the model." You could also say "It seems that ..." but that's just another option. You could also opt to change "would remain to simply "remains".

Or alternatively, omit "left over", as it may be redundant.
