potencia = capacity (the infrastructure capable of producing power.
Capacity is measured in MW or GW
Power, or energy, is measured in MWH or GWH
(hope this helps!)

already in 1920 Denmark's eolic power capacity was 200 MW
creo que es mejor darle la vuelta a la oración, no?

generated 200 MW of wind power
Is it the "contaba con" part of the phrase that you're asking about?
Depending on the beginning of the sentence and the surrounding context (and the fact that it's Denmark), the text may be suggesting that it's power generated rather than power that they are counting on or anticipating.
Maybe : )

: It is not power. It is capacity to generate power. If you have a turbine or plant with capacity of 200 MW and you operate that capacity for 10 hours, you produce 200x10 = 2000 MWH of power (energy).

: I'm afraid a native speaker of English would not write "counted with" or "aeolian energy power"

In 1910 Denmark already counted on 200 megawatts of wind power.
A more literal translation. It means Denmark relied on or depended on 200 MW of wind power for its needs.

: It doesn't mean Denmark generated 200 MW of wind power in 1910. It means Denmark had 200 MW of capacity to generate wind power. If the turbines were running at full capacity all year (5760 hours), these turbines would have produced 200x5760=1,152,000 MWH.
