Good afternoon,
I am finishing up this second document of a house lease agreement in Spain for an American businessman.
I am perplexed by the wording of the above cited part of the paragraph:
"La arrendataria se obliga a contratar una póliza
de seguro multíriesgo del hogar para sus pertenencias. El arrendador no será responsable a no ser que sea por culpo o negligencia de cualquier daño o perjuicio que sufran dichas pertenencias. "
I would truly appreciate clarifying just that part of the sentence.

The tenant is required to take out a multi-risk insurance policy covering the contents of the property. The lessor will only be responsible for damage entailed as a result of his own fault or negligence. Any other damage will be the responsibility of the tenant.
