ОГРН - основной государственный регистрационный номер - некий словарь дает как "Primary state registration number" и в прецедентном английском документе (который является переводом) тоже так написано. Я раньше обычно писал "Principal State Registrаtion Number".
Что думают носители языка? Не носит ли "primary" несколько другой оттенок - степень важности и пр.?

: No, unique doesn't work here. In your reference, it's not even part of the term itself, it's an external qualifier. Primary sounds fine to me.
