This is the context of my query.
"Forfeiture Allocations. For years in which the Proposed Rules do not apply, with respect to Units forfeited in accordance with Section XXX hereof, forfeiture allocations shall nonetheless be made in accordance with and as described in the Proposed Rules.

The Management Committee shall cause the Company to make any allocations of items of income, gain, deduction, loss or credit (including forfeiture allocations and elections as to allocation periods) necessary or appropriate to effectuate and maintain the Safe Harbor Election.
