“contingent/e/” has got to be a typo!
I suppose this is the case when company policy forbids religious expressions in the office. It is a sound policy, but few would agree with the restrictions, or understand the wisdom behind them.

Iba a poner supeditado a, pero supeditado ya contempla estar condicionado y me parece que refleja mejor la dependencia, cosa que no sucede con contingente en español, que indica que puede suceder o no puede suceder
