納期注文引当／紐切り

This is in a list of possible operations, functions in a production management system.
I am particularly curious about the 紐切り part - does it mean completed, or that the order (which was confirmed before) was cancelled (contract broken)?

Katalin Horváth McClure (asker) Feb 2, 2012: Don't think so I think it is probably allocation/deallocation, meaning that the produced items are allocated to a specific order *such as batch 3456 will go to Customer 123), and they can be deallocated (ooops, we won't ship batch 3456 to Customer 123 after all).
RieM Feb 1, 2012: Could it be 締切り? Then, it could mean 注文引当 & 注文締切り.
