الأحوال الشخصية are the matters relating to family. In this case, the equivalent is Family Division or Family Court, as long as Personal Status doesn't not exist in the British or the American legal systems, and it would not make any sense to your target audience.

: It would still be translated as personal status, I think the target audience can make sense of it. Besides the Family Division in English speaking countries might be more or less limited in matters with which it deals.
