Work and Travel Brochure
This is part of a Work and Travel brochure of Canada, and i dont know how to translate into context the word placement.
context:
(second sentences, "they get placements from...")
Workshop 1 is common for Young Workers and Work Wise clients. Work shop 2 has different contents uniquely developed for Work Wise clients. They get placements from WTL and do not need a lot of the information that’s provided to Young Workers Essential client’s. The focus for Work wise clients is to do well during the interview, keep the job they have been offered and work & perform well as an employee in Canada.
thanks in advance.

I think this is a matter of regionalisms. "Placement" is the same as "pasantía" in Argentina (it meets all its characteristics: informal conditions, student-oriented, temporary). As Remy said, in Puerto Rico this is known as "empleo temporero". So, now you need to choose one option based on the target country of your translation. Good luck!

CERES Trad
Placement = A job, usually as part of a course of study, which gives you experience of a particular type of work (Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English).
