Spanish term

necesidades de precio y cercanía

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Hi all, this is from a corporate presentation for a large Peruvian supermarket chain. I obviously know what this means... But how does one put it? "Price and proximity needs" doesn’t work, and I just can’t seem to nail it.

Peruvian Spanish to UK English. Thanks in advance.

CONTEXT:

“[Large Supermarket Chain] S.A. pertenece a un sólido grupo empresarial peruano XXX adquirido en el año 2004. Los diferentes formatos existentes se adaptan a los múltiples tipos de consumidores que existen en el país, destinados a cubrir sus necesidades de precio y cercanía.”

needs for competitive pricing and convenient locations

I think this is a rare case of actually needing to expand it in English, making it less abstract and spelling it out in concrete terms.

Another angle on it, anyway.

Glad it worked for you, James!

Thank you kindly, Mr Ronder! I delivered this, pretty much word for word, a little earlier. It makes sense!

price/value for money and convenience needs

1 option!
Note from asker:
Cheers for this, Edward. I seriously considered “value for money and convenience needs”, but the “convenience needs” thing at the end just didn’t do it for me. Great to hear how you handle “cercanía” though; the word gives me headache, and I disregard this option many times (convenience)

agree neilmac : Convenience is a neat option for "cercanía", which often gives me problems ;)

value and access needs

destinados a cubrir sus necesidades de precio y cercanía = and are designed to satisfy their value and access needs

Try to nail it in the proper kind of language for a presentation. The idea of "cercanía" becomes "access".

value (for money) and location

another option

Location important in terms of proximity and convenience
