the Child with the Sweet Name of Jesus

The individual elements of this are straightforward. "Sweet Name of Jesus" is a very common expression in English (there is a famous Anglican hymn which begins "How sweet the name of Jesus sounds", for example):

"Niño" has to be "child" here, not "baby" or "infant", because the festivity (also known as the "Lost Child") "commemorates the search for the boy Jesus who was found by his parents in the Temple with the Teachers of the Law"

The difficulty is fitting it together so that it sounds reasonably natural in English. I would do it like this, inserting "with the".

"thou wilt go to them bathed in the sweet blood of the Son of God, with the sweet name of Jesus"

As I say, what is being adored here is the child or boy in the episode known as the Finding in the Temple, described in Luke 2:42-51. According to Luke, Jesus was twelve at this time. So in this case "Baby Jesus" is definitely not appropriate.

I would also advise not glossing over "nombre", which I think should be included explicitly. This refers to a devotional tradition of meditation on the names of Christ which has a long history, particularly in Spanish, and is best exemplified in Fray Luis de León's sixteenth-century treatise De los nombres de Cristo.

agree philgoddard : I didn't know all this, and I have a feeling the people who agreed with Victoria's answer don't either. The translation needs a sentence of explanation added. Another really good answer from the House of Davis!
