The text is a review of the film 'In the House' by François Ozon, originally written in European Spanish. This is an extract from the concluding paragraph.
I know what the literal translation of "ritmo endiablado" is but I'm having a hard time translating it to make it appropriate to describe the pace of a film. I've also heard this phrase when describing music.
"[Es] [u]na cinta con **un ritmo endiablado** que se va deslizando ante nuestros ojos y juega con los personajes y con nosotros mismos."
Thanks for your help!

breakneck speed
I would use something like "it's a film that develops/whose plot unfolds/[whatever] at breakneck speed"

Thanks! There are many ways you could put this, but I feel that "breakneck" expresses "endiablado" very well. Cheers Phil. :)

furious rhythm /fast-paced
Two other options. You'll obviously have to add a verb with the second one or otherwise adapt the sentence structure to make it fit.

manic pace
Just thought of another option.
