No I am not entirely sure However I can't see any logical connection between E and autonomo or between C and dipendente, although A for agricultural is logical. The term "quadro RE" is a reference and you need the "RE" to find the section, so you must include "RE" in your translation. Now if you post "Quadro RE - Lavoro autonomo" the translation is "Section RE - self-employed persons"
I filled in the RE section for over 25 years and then got tired and handed over to an accountant. Naturally US returns are different from UK returns are different from Italian returns, etc. so seeking an exact equivalent is a fruitless task.

I know this is the UNICO, James, and R stands for reddito but are you sure the letters are just alphabetical?
This is what annpollack wrote for RA:
This is a tax form. I would leave it as "RA" which means 'land income'
Otherwise you can say Land Income Schedule (RA)
