(a) Woven carpets:
- Wilton carpet: shall be produced with a cut pile or loop pile (Brussels pile.) The pattern is
produced through the use of either perforated pattern cards or computer jacquards. The
surface may be specified as velvet, hardtwist or sculpted.
- Axminster carpet: shall be produced with a smooth cut pile surface and shall be manufactured
through the use of either spools, gripper or ***spool gripper*** manufacturing types. The designs are
also produced through either perforated pattern cards or computer jacquards.
