Process intelligence reclassifies a defect taking into account the global context of the defect such as its location, its periodicity, etc. The process is straight forward and is shown in PIC
If a candidate class defect satisfies a set of rules it is reclassified as a result class defect.
As for the merging process rules within the same rule set are ANDed together whereas rule sets are ORed.
