Italian term

Spese Imm. es. IVA

Italian to English Bus/Financial Automotive / Cars & Trucks Field on a purchase invoice
I'm translating the purchase invoice of a new car.
One line is "Spese Imm. es. IVA + I.P.T".
I'm having troubles with the abbreviations "Imm." and "es.". The only thing I can come out for "Imm." is "immobiliare", but it doesn't make much sense. As for "es.", it usually means "e.g." but, again, this seems out of context. Maybe "escluso" (IVA esclusa) would make more sense, though that is usually not abbreviated as "es." as far as I know.

Registration Tax VAT not included

Spese Imm. = spese d'immatricolazione
es. IVA = IVA eslusa
Vehicle Registration Tax = VRT
Example sentence:

This online service allows current and new residents of California to calculate an estimate of their vehicle registration fees

Note from asker:
Thank you, as answers were more or less similar I chose the one which came first.

Registration costs exempt from VAT

The vehicle registration costs are exempt from VAT. "es iva" is obvious to any freelance translator with an italian VAT number, or at least to one who couldn't afford an accountant for many years.

VAT excluded is usually a price given without the VAT, which you will have to pay when you buy it. If you are a business customer you can deduct the VAT, so it is useful to know the price net of VAT.
Exempt from VAT means there is no VAT to pay when you buy. The difference in the meaning is currently 22% of the price in Italy, quite a big difference, most people would say.
