Non-PRO Spanish to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) IT service analysis
This is the context:

Esta interpretación incorpora información cuantitativa y cualitativa muy útil para los usuarios. Permite, por ejemplo:

• Analizar la causalidad: Si el origen de un evento está originado por un elemento del propio servicio o en una dependencia del servicio, siguiendo las relaciones causa-efecto definidas en el modelado.

I need to translate this to English (UK) and so far have the following:

This extraction incorporates important quantitative and qualitative information for the user such as the following examples:

• Causal analysis: If an event source originates from any element of the same service or a reliance on such service, whilst following cause-and-effect relationships defined during the modelling stage

I am not confident that it is a correct technical translation and so any help to make sure the above is a correct translation of the phrase in spanish "si el origen de un evento está originado por un elemento del propio servicio" would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Whether an event is caused by an element of the service itself

The tautological use of "origen" and "originado" means that you can omit one or the other ("the origin of an event is originated by")

Hence you can either say:

"Whether an event is caused by an element of the service itself or is dependent on the service..."

or

"Whether the source of an event is an element of the service itself or is dependent on the service..."
