Portuguese to English Other Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc. academic text
Hi everyone, I'm translating an academic text on categories of difference in Brazil and I'm a bit confused about this line. The context is not complicated but I don't think I understand. It is more likely that she never knew even one their names, than one of her colleagues? Or their female colleagues? Of course she would know her female colleagues' names. Maybe it's late and I'm sure this is simple, but would appreciate your help!

I'm afraid I just don't understand what the comparison is. It is more likely that she never knew even one of their names than that of one of her workmates? But what does that mean? Of course she would know her co-workers' names. What is the point being made?
