Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести "digital or serial timing" в следующем контексте:

Appropriate digital or serial timing shall be provided on the image media. A description of the timing signal, the offset of timing signal to the image, and the means of correlating the time of the image with the time of electronic data shall be provided.
