Italian term

C'è stata riserva

Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general)
Hi all -

I am translating a deposition that has been transcribed as well as recorded.
A single witness is being deposed, who is the plaintiff and who alleges criminal activity.
There is one trial judge.
Attorney AAAAA is the defense attorney
Attorney BBBBB is the plaintoiff's attorney

Here is the context:

AVV.
JUDICE No
AVV. BBBB E' nelle indagini difensive
JUDICE E' nelle indagini difensive
AVV.

I would appreciate any help!

Thanks!
Michael

philgoddard Dec 19, 2019:
I think this may be short for "riserva di legge"
http://context.reverso.net/translation/italian-english/riser...
though I'm not sure what it means here. The court reserved the right to rule?
Michael Meskers (asker) Dec 19, 2019:
I agree This makes sense given the context.

Thanks!
