I don't think it means electric shock.
I think it is dealing with the use of shock paddles.
It is part of a laundry list of other items used to keep someone alive or resuscitate them.
Some of the other items are:
withdraw or withhold procedures to sustain patient's life Pressure regulation medications,
IV antibiotics,
artificial nutrition and hydration,
blood transfusions, etc
How would you say this in English and how would you translate something like this to Spanish Properly?
