Dutch term

tuuk op zijn bakkens

Dutch to English Other Slang
I'm at a complete loss for this expression.
The context is a DVD explaining haemophilia to young people. It involves animations to help with the explanation of clotting factors. In this animation the DVD is explaining how treatment at home can work. The phrase is in the middle of the following sentence
Begin bloeding in de tuin, naar binnen niet hospitaal, preparatie, regels, dagboek, motiveerd blijven huiselijke situatie, tuuk op zijn bakkens, spuiten in de arm …………

As you can see it is pretty telegraphic and any help with this phrase would be much appreciated.

Thanks Bjorn for the succinct answer - I was stumped - I eventually used 'a bang on the face' in the translation

agree Jack den Haan : Or: hit someone right on the nose.

agree Bieke Bernaert : But it's a noun and not a verb (which would be 'op z'n bakkes toeken')
