I think it is should be:
ظهروا كرموز للأصولية وتمتعوا بهالة من التمجيد في أفلام هوليوود (يمكنك على سبيل المثال مشاهدة فيلمي ...)

Guessing the intended meaning
This post is not for grading. It does not offer any suggestion for a translation.
I only want to point out that the writer does not seem to be saying that Hollywood movies have been raising book burners and suicide bombers to the status of saints, even metaphorically, but rather saying that Hollywood movies have been featuring such characters in an unduly prominent manner, portraying them as the chief examples of Islamic fundamentalism.
Therefore, I would suggest that you keep this point in mind in your translation and/or when you select an answer.
Of course, there is always the legitimate option of translating inferior writing exactly as written, thereby exposing the inferior quality of the source material. No one can blame you for that, unless the job specifically requires a different approach.

Thank you sir, have taken that into consideration. |

Abu Arman
: that's why I prefer using the word "تخليد" instead, which could be a bit more inclusive and leaves room for different interpretations

Discussion
However, although resurgent
Islam may be only one form of fundamentalism, it is the form which is most often cited as an example of it. Fundamentalism
itself is made flesh by drawing upon examples of 'Islamic fundamentalism'? ?Book burners and suicide bombers have emerged as fundamentalist icons enjoying recurrent
Hollywood canonization (see, for example, Not Without My Daughter and True Lies).
