English term

criterion velocity

English to Latvian Science Psychology stress management, neuroscience
She tallies your effort-to-progress ratio, and she has a strong opinion about what that
ratio should be. This opinion is called “criterion velocity.”

When the monitor feels that you’re making good progress—when
you’re matching or exceeding the criterion velocity—she is satisfied, motivated,
eager.

If you’ve felt the thrill of
winning a race or a game, that’s your little monitor having her criterion
velocity satisfied—effort-to-progress ratio met or exceeded! If you’ve
experienced road rage, that’s your little monitor’s how-long-this-tripshould-
be-taking criterion velocity going unmet—effort-to-progress
ratio much too large!

Ines Burrell Apr 6, 2022:
Ņemot vērā slikto angļu valodu, es pieļauju, ka autoram nav ne mazākās jausmas, par ko viņš/viņa raksta. Iesaku tulkot burtiski - kritērija ātrums. No sliktas kvalitātes teksta labu "uzcept" nevar.

panākumu ātruma kritērijs

«... your effort-to-progress ratio, and she has a strong opinion about what that ratio should be» = «... kāds ir proporcionālais rādītājs starp jūsu pieliktajām pūlēm un sekmēm ... un viņai ir stingra nostāja par to, kādai jābūt šā rādītāja vērtībai»
(effort = pūles, centieni; progress = panākumi)

Ja panākumi tiek gūti ātri un ar ne visai lielām pūlēm, tad kritērija vērtība skaitās «laba» — tā var izprast.
