Discussion

Johan Venter Aug 25, 2005:
I have to agree with Debs, we do not take the points home and cook them for lunch, so this is no 'reward'. It is a courtesy thing and leaving questions open for a number of months do not make much sense to me.
Deborah do Carmo Aug 25, 2005:
In context this should mean to a maximum total of .....is just a threshold on the personal suretyship, don't have time to look up the acutual abbreviation, could even be internal shorthand.
Deborah do Carmo Aug 25, 2005:
I'm sure people don't view it as a reward Andre but rather as courtesy - we are mostly all busy professionals who go out of their way to help others in their time of need and hope for the same back, that's all. Just drawing your attention to it. Bye 4 now
Non-ProZ.com Aug 25, 2005:
apologies. Haven't had much time - I didn't see the May question was still open. But everyone will receive their due reward very soon.
Deborah do Carmo Aug 25, 2005:
Andre, you have 15 questions open dated back to May -people might be more inclined to assist if you started to close them. Just a thought.

agree Henk Peelen : lijkt mij ook

neutral Deborah do Carmo : ad is Latin for to - this just means the suretyship is limited to the maximum amount stipulated - nothing is "added" as such
44 mins
neutral jarry (X) : ad is often used in Dutch to say 'amounting to'
