The efficiency of the ''semi-axial view'', which is a new projection of computed tomography (CT) for the temporal bone, was evaluated through the study of 48 normal and 55 pathological ears. The semi-axial view is obtained by the technique that X-ray segment is inclined 30 degrees below the Cantho-meatal line to the nose.
