estoy traduciendo un expediente sobre una estafa para ser presentado en australia. Cuando hace referencia a la parte demandada y a la demandante, lo traduje como plaintiff and defendant. Es correcto?

Demandado: defendant, respondent, etc

Usage varies a little according to context. For example you would use respondent in a divorce case.
