Spanish to English Marketing Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Hi. I am translating (from a bilingual table) a marketing document about the use of SIMPONI (Golimumab) in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and the associated clinical trial that was conducted.

There is a table showing the percentages which are followed by a small "a". Would this be an abbreviation for "approximately"? If not, I'm not sure what it could mean. This "a" is also used next to the P for percentage: "ªP

Maybe a way to denote an absolute percent difference? (such as an increase from 2% to 4% being a 2%a increase, but a 100% increase in relative percentage)
