I am quite embarrassed to post on this topic as it seems so basic but I really cant seem to work out how to proceed. I have just purchased Trados 2014 with 'ProZ.com Online Training' included. However, I cant work out how to actually use that training. There doesn't seem to be a code I can use when signing up for training. In fact, it's not even clear which webinars I can access. I'm guessing I probably get one course 'for free' but there are of course many to choose from through Proz. Do ... See more
I am quite embarrassed to post on this topic as it seems so basic but I really cant seem to work out how to proceed. Do I have to do the most basic course or could I wait and use my 'free' code (if I get one) to pay for an intermediate or advanced course at a later date? (I have been working with 2007 and 2009 for a long time and feel comfortable with the basic functionality and have watched the Getting Started videos Trados provides so feel reasonably confident with picking up the basics now)
Any thoughts would be gratefully received. ▲ Collapse

You should have a purchase credit

Hi Medway TS,
the SDL Trados training courses provided via ProZ.com can be found here:
Your purchase entitles you to attend one of theses courses. You need not take a course immediately, but can decide later on which one to attend.
When Studio 2011 was released, there was a course named "SDL Trados Studio 2011 – New Features", though there doesn't seem to be a corresponding course for Studio 2014 just now.
When you call up the page of one of the courses, your options are shown at the top right corner of the screen.
You should be able to see a button labelled "Purchase for XXX (Use purchase credit)".
If there's no mention of purchase credits and you can only "Purchase for XXX", you should contact ProZ.com support at:
