Like a bull in a china shop.

Or: like a child playing with matches

Not an exact equiavalent, but it conveys the same sense of having the potential to wreak immediate havoc.

Suerte.

From http://www.dawn.com/2002/10/03/op.htm:

Then along came a godsend — 9/11. Whether or not it was the brainchild of Osama bin Laden alone, the bombing of the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, presented George Bush with a united America together with the whole world on a silver platter. A second-rate former state governor was transformed into the world’s strongman, riding roughshod and wild like a bull in a China shop.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Chelin : I believe the bull in the china shop refers more to someone clumsy, like the inspector in The Pink Panther. Not dangerous.

Please see my added note. It implies "danger" as well, most definitely.
agree María Teresa Taylor Oliver : I think it could work. A bull in a china shop *is* indeed dangerous! ;)

neutral Robert Forstag : The element of a *living being* along with the dangerous object is absent here....

Tks for your comment, although it being an idiom does not mean it requires that the elements be exactly the same, but that they convey the same idea, adapted to the enviroment it was created in. Thus, it does not necessarily have to have a living being.
