I recently had a high-tech body analyis scale description and used this type of description. If it is a spoke text it may be better to refer to the design, as you aren't referring to needs or cravings, but the style/design trend of the product.

I don't think that in this case one needs to change what the original is saying. You could say in fashion with our times or in mode with our times. But why change it?
