ways of life (in this context) Explanation: The latter part of the sentence could then be: "...choose freely between all the various ways of life and all the various ways of individually shaping our lives." I interpret the distinction between "Lebensprägung" and "Lebensgestaltung" here as being between an established way of life (e.g. eine "christliche Lebensprägung") and the personal shaping of one's own life (not following any pre-established pattern). |
