Gracias a todos por colaborar. Me encanta el hecho de que he contestado dos dudas con una sola pregunta... les agradezco no solamente a Ana y eski y Trujaman, sino a los que han comentado bajo sus respuestas.

Esta iba a ser mi próxima pregunta Porque donde quiera que dice sentencias, dado que esta es una causa civil, en el derecho anglosajón, tanto en GB como en EEUU, decimos judgment o judgement para las 'sentencias' en lo civil. Es decir, una sentencia es solamente algo que se da en un caso criminal, donde se sentencia al acusado al castigo que corresponda.

En este caso, y a tono con lo que ponen Ana y eski en sus respuestas, voy a cambiar todas mis sentences a judgements (es para GB).

Maybe is short for sentences. I'm not complety sure but take a look at the reference below.
