breach/infringment of registered design Explanation: breach/infringment of registered/patented design tradelawyersblog.com/.../registered-design-allows-action-against-imports-infringing-that-design/?... secengineer.com/Engineering/expert/expertwitness.htm - -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 20 mins (2009-07-13 17:57:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sorry! I had Patents in mind and I don't know how to edit my answer. I would translate it as 'exhibit'. The sample provided within the scope of a dispute. Hope it helps. :) |

model in dispute Explanation: By analogy with other similar terms, such as "Klagepatent", and since a "Geschmacksmuster" is a "design model" and a "Muster" is a "model", it is pretty likely that it would be "model in dispute". However, as others have said, a couple of examples of usage might be appropriate. |

Reference: Info Reference information: Under German law, the Geschmacksmuster ("aesthetic model") is a form of intellectual property that extends industrial design rights over the visual design of objects that is not purely utilitarian. The term of a Geschmacksmuster is twenty years, compared to twenty-five years for a community design. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geschmacksmuster -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 mins (2009-07-13 17:54:34 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Aesthetic model: A prototype that looks like the final product but is not fully functional. http://searchwarp.com/swa342395.htm |
