habe gerade mal google gecheckt - man findet dort weitaus mehr Einträge für broad reach, aber im Media-Sprachgebrauch wird für hohe Reichweite high reach benutzt.

Reach ist eine Maßeinheit für Reichweite. Wenn man Medien diskutiert und breit wirkende Medien meint, wird man von broad reaching media sprechen. Wenn man hohe Reichweite meint, wird man high reach sagen.

M.E. meint der ST die quantitative Bedeutung: broad reaching media (Massenmedien) with high reach (mit hoher Leistung = Reichweite)
