The term is in a document authorizing power of attorney for a limited partner in an Investment Fund.
Would "savings association" be a correct translation?
I did not find this term in the glossaries.
Below is the text where the term appears, at the beginning of the agreement:

Para el establecimiento de una participación como socio comanditario en ABC Fund (en lo sucesivo la “Sociedad del Fondo”).
[Then later:]
Nada de lo contenido en el presente afectará a los derechos de la **Sociedad del Fondo** para presentar denuncias por daños o pérdidas que excedan el importe que antecede.

How about, just simply so.

Discussion
Although I agree that “fund” is an important component of the term, (in Spanish), I cannot think of any translation to English that doesn’t sound, well, “awkward”. I suppose you are having the same problem. I feel that the “fund” element is sufficiently defined in the statement that institutes “Sociedad del Fondo” as the reference, and since it is a “henceforth” reference you have some license in translating the term. But you have to go with your instinct: If it feels wrong it is wrong. Perhaps something like “Investment Association” is what you are looking for. This is one of those “simple” sounding KudoZ that isn’t.
