I am translationg a psycho-educational report about a student with ADD/ADHD. These are some of the recommendations by the psychologist to parents and teachers to help the student improve his/her problem solving:

Have the student read an article of the newspaper out-loud and use the problem solving process - see any elementary math book. The purpose is to assist the student in the process of stopping and thinking before acting impulsively or [cognitive behavioral reasoning].
