Spanish term or phrase: clorhidrometria
I'm translating a study of cystic fibrosis in adult patients and I've run into a term that I'm unable to figure out.

The full segment is as follows:

"El diagnóstico de FQ se estableció ante la presencia de al menos un criterio clínico o antecedentes familiares de FQ y la demostración de un funcionalismo anormal del CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator) mediante el resultado de una prueba del sudor (clorhidrometría) o la presencia de dos mutaciones causantes de enfermedad."

Anyone have any idea what "clorhidrometría" is referring to? I find no results in Google for "clorhydrometry", "chlorhydrometry", "chlorohydrometry" or any variant I can think of.

Thanks in advance

Sweat Test
Also known as: Sweat Electrolytes; Iontophoretic Sweat Test
Formal name: Sweat Chloride

The sweat chloride test is used to test for cystic fibrosis (CF) in symptomatic people. It is also used to help confirm or rule out a diagnosis of CF in those who have tested positive or indeterminate with other tests, including a screening sweat test, the immunoreactive trypsinogen test (IRT), the trypsin test, and/or the nasal (transepithelial) potential difference (NPD) test. It is not used to monitor CF since elevated levels do not correlate with the severity of the disease or its symptoms.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the help. Although "clorhidrometria" is indeed the "sweat chloride test", the text "sweat test" already precedes the word "clorhidrometria" in my translation so, in my case, it doesn't really help much. I guess I'll just remove the "clorhidrometria" and use "chloride ion" in the parentheses. Thanks again for the help.

Reference information:
El clorhidrómetro mide nivel de cloro que en este caso puntual se refiere a la transpiración o sudoración. Por deducción, la clorhidometría es efectivamente la medición de cloro.
